The first 80% took a weekend. The rest is the job.
The unbuilt parts are the unglamorous ones — password reset, email that actually arrives, admin tools, refunds, error states. Humanized Code reads what AI built for $50, tells you in writing what is missing and what is load-bearing, and quotes the finish work at a fixed price within 48 hours.
01
What generated apps leave unbuilt
Nobody prompts for the boring half, so the boring half is what is missing. Password reset that reliably delivers. Email that does not land in spam. An admin view so you can fix one customer's data without opening the database. What the screen says when a list is empty, or when something fails. A refund. The second page of results once there are more than ten rows. Search that works when someone types a capital letter.
Individually each is small. Together they are the difference between a thing you can show people and a thing you can sell, and they are why "it is 90% done" has been true for six weeks.
02
How a takeover actually starts
Anyone finishing your app has to understand it first, and that understanding is exactly what the $50 pass produces. A senior engineer reads the codebase, works out what it does, what it was trying to do, and where those two diverge. The output is a scope: what is missing, what is load-bearing enough that it must be right, what is fine as-is, and a fixed price to complete it.
From there you choose. We finish it, your own developer finishes it from our document, or you finish the easy parts yourself and hand us the rest. All three happen, and the review is written to support all three.

START THE REVIEW
- Will you throw away what the AI wrote and start over?
- Rarely. Most generated code is decent and salvageable; rewriting it burns your money to produce the same behavior. We keep what works and replace what cannot be trusted.
- What does finishing usually cost?
- Typically $300 for a simple site, $300 to $500 with logins, $500 to $750 for a store, more for anything running AI in production. You get your number before you commit.
- Can I stop after the findings?
- Yes, and some people do — the list turns out to be shorter than they feared and they finish it themselves. The $50 buys the document either way.
- How long does the build take once I say yes?
- The quote states it. Small finishing jobs are usually within a week; anything longer is broken into stages so you can see progress.
