The fear is more specific than it feels
When people describe what is stopping them, it is almost never "the app is bad". Pressed, it comes out as one of four things. Somebody will find a way in. I will charge someone the wrong amount, or twice. I will lose data that belongs to a customer. Something will be broken for days and I will hear about it from the person it happened to.
Every one of those is a technical question with a checkable answer. That is worth sitting with for a second: the thing keeping you awake is not a temperament problem, it is four unanswered questions, and questions can be answered.

Naming it is most of the fix
Dread is unranked. It has no size and no edges, so it occupies whatever space you give it, and it gets worse the longer you leave the launch. A findings document turns that into eleven items, of which three matter, and the three take a Tuesday.
You may still be nervous afterwards. But you will be nervous about a list, which is a considerably better thing to be nervous about, and it is the state every experienced engineer launches in. Nobody ships feeling certain. They ship having checked.

- Possibly. Some of the findings we send back say the project is sounder than its owner assumed, and that verdict is worth the same $50 as the alarming kind.
- What if the review makes me more scared?
- Findings are ranked by what would actually hurt, and most items are small. We say plainly which things are safe to launch with — a list of eleven things where none are urgent reads very differently from silence.
- Will you just tell me whether I can launch?
- Yes. There is a line in the findings that says ship it, ship it after these two, or do not ship yet — and the reasoning behind whichever one it is.
- What do you need from me?
- The repository or a zip, a sentence on what the app does, and whatever specifically worries you. That last part gets read first.
