HUMAN
Asking another AI is not a second opinion.
A second model shares the first one's blind spots and tends to agree with however you framed the question. A real second opinion comes from someone who did not write the code and has nothing to defend. Humanized Code gives you that for $50: a senior engineer's written verdict and a fixed repair quote, 48 hours out.
01
Two models, one blind spot
Ask a second assistant to review the first one's work and you will usually get a polite pass and three cosmetic suggestions. They are trained on overlapping data and carry overlapping instincts, so the pattern that looked correct to one looks correct to the other. The mistake they share is invisible to both.
There is a subtler problem. Models take your framing. Ask "is this secure?" and you get a checklist. Ask "this looks fine, right?" and you are considerably more likely to be told it is fine. A reviewer whose answer changes with the wording of the question is not an independent check.
02
What independence actually looks like
Someone who did not write it, has no stake in it being good, has personally shipped things that broke, and will give you the boring answer when the boring answer is true. Some of the most useful reviews we write amount to "this is in better shape than you think — here are three things to fix and then go."
That is a real result. Knowing you are fine is worth the same $50 as finding out you are not, and it is the outcome nobody can get from asking the tool that wrote the code.

START THE REVIEW
- What if you find nothing serious?
- You get that in writing, specifically — what was checked, what was clean, and the small items worth doing anyway. A clean verdict from a stranger is the thing you were actually buying.
- Is the review done by a person, start to finish?
- Yes. A senior engineer reads the code and writes the findings, and their name is on it. An independent opinion is the product; handing it back to a model would defeat the point.
- Will you tell me I picked the wrong tool?
- No. We review the code in front of us. Cursor, Claude, Copilot, Lovable, Replit, Bolt — they all produce shippable work and they all produce the same handful of gaps.
- Can I get an opinion on just one part of the app?
- Yes. Tell us the part that worries you and it gets the deep read, with the rest covered at a lighter pass.
