HUMAN
What a senior engineer sees that you cannot.
Senior review is pattern memory — recognizing the query that dies at ten thousand rows, the webhook that charges twice, the upload with no size limit. Humanized Code puts a working senior engineer on your codebase for a flat $50 and returns a written report plus a fixed quote for the repairs within 48 hours.
01
Seniority is mostly pattern memory
The difference between five years and five months is not knowing more syntax. It is having been woken up at three in the morning by specific things and never forgetting their shape: the database query that is instant on two hundred rows and fatal on two hundred thousand; the payment webhook with no idempotency key that charges a customer twice when the network hiccups; the file upload with no size limit; the background job with no timeout.
None of those look wrong. They look like working code, which is precisely why a model writes them and a junior approves them. They are recognized, not deduced.
02
What this normally costs, honestly
A senior contractor bills somewhere between $100 and $200 an hour, and a genuine audit is measured in days. An agency will want a discovery call, a proposal and a minimum engagement before anyone opens your repo. Neither is unreasonable; both are badly shaped for someone who just wants to know whether their app is safe to launch.
Our first pass is $50, credited against the work if you go ahead. What follows is a fixed price to repair or finish what the review found — typically $300 for a brochure site, $300 to $500 for anything with logins, $500 to $750 for a store, more for apps running AI in production. Fixed means fixed; there is no hourly meter behind it.

START THE REVIEW
- Who actually reads my code?
- A working engineer from Evergreen Techworks, the agency Humanized Code belongs to. Every reviewer has at least five years of building and maintaining production software for businesses.
- Is $50 really all I pay?
- It is all you pay for the first pass, and it is credited if you go on to have us do the work. Anything beyond that is a fixed quote for the repairs, shown before you decide.
- Am I obliged to buy the fixes from you?
- No. Plenty of people take the findings to their own developer, which is a perfectly good outcome. The document is written to be handed over.
- How long does the first pass take?
- Findings are back within 48 hours of checkout. Most arrive sooner; complex projects use the full window.
